INKAS® Awarded Patents for Environmental Protection Products

INKASTRANS Canada, a leading provider of a wide range of services in the field of environmental protection, has recently been awarded two patents for its products. The new innovative products are oil sorbent pads and absorbent fibrous granules, both of which are designed for oil recovery in practically any oil spill cleanup operation.

Oil sorbent pads are hardworking essentials in the oil spill clean up process. INKAS^® pads are recognized for their absolutely incomparable performance as they absorb at least four times more oil than any other pads in the same short period of time, which results in an overall much lower cost of oil retrieval.

Absorbent fibrous granules are widely used for recovery of oil and other hydrocarbons on water and dry surfaces. The INKAS^® engineered granules, which are made from natural organic or synthetic waste, have oil sorption rates of up to 20 times their weight and practically endless buoyancy on water before and after oil sorption. It is now easier than ever to both spread and collect these innovative absorbent fibrous granules.
