Introducing the Chairperson’s Forum

INKAS® Armored Vehicle Manufacturing is the largest and most sophisticated manufacturer of armored vehicles in North America. With more than 25 years of international experience, INKAS® vehicles are globally renowned for their quality and reliability in difficult environments and under extraordinary circumstances. 

While INKAS® manufactures vehicles for law enforcement, military and a range of private sector corporations, it also supplies smaller enterprises as well as private citizens. It need not be emphasized that the safety and security of our family, friends and colleagues is the highest priority. However, given the global nature of the international economy, sometimes we pursue corporate and personal goals and interests in challenging and sometimes dangerous locations. 

Whether it be the risk of criminal activities, terrorism, kidnapping or simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time, moving about in some parts of the world brings with it inherent risk. Our armored vehicles look and function like any other automobile that you see, however, the occupants of INKAS armored cars and SUVs are safe and secure. From their residence to the office, or even when bringing the children to school, forethought and risk assessment is unfortunately necessary. An understanding of where the risks lie and how to avoid and mitigate danger is imperative. 

Duty of Care:

Every corporate entity has a legal ‘Duty of Care’ responsibility toward their employees. If, for example, you have staff travelling on behalf of your firm, you have a legal responsibility to keep them safe. From the time they leave home until their return. If you have staff permanently deployed abroad, the company’s responsibility for their safety is 24/7/365. For deployed personnel, the Duty of Care extends to their families. Failure to respect the Duty of Care doctrine may result in both civil and criminal consequences.
