INKAS® Commits to the Net-Zero Challenge

INKAS® is pleased to announce its official commitment to the Government of Canada’s Net-Zero Challenge, representing a significant step forward in the company’s ongoing sustainability journey.

By participating in this national program, INKAS® undertakes to align its activities with Canada’s objective of reaching net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, demonstrating its commitment to innovation, responsibility, and long-term environmental stewardship.

The Net-Zero Challenge, coordinated by the Canadian government, encourages businesses across the country to create credible, transparent, and science-based net-zero strategies. Participants agree to set reduction objectives, report progress annually, and embed sustainability at all levels of their firm.

“Our dedication to the Net-Zero Challenge reflects our conviction that manufacturing and environmental responsibility can coexist.” Margarita Simkin, Chairwoman of INKAS®, stated, “In the next 25 years, we aim to invest in smarter technologies, greener operations, and cleaner supply chains, so the advanced protection we manufacture can benefit not only our clients, but the planet as well.”

For INKAS®, this commitment represents more than program participation; it underscores a broader focus on continuous improvement. As one of the leading manufacturers of armored vehicles and providers of safe mobility solutions, INKAS® is mindful of the environmental considerations associated with its sector. Every phase, from material procurement and production efficiency to logistics and energy use, provides chances for responsible innovation. This pledge will kick off a long-term investment in energy-efficient technologies, production process optimization, and collaboration with partners and suppliers who share its environmental goals.

By participating in the Net-Zero Challenge, INKAS® joins other forward-thinking Canadian businesses committed to driving significant climate change. This commitment reflects INKAS®’s focus on providing innovative, reliable protective solutions and upholding responsible environmental practices. INKAS® is looking forward to the journey ahead and the significant impact this commitment will have on its employees, clients, and communities around the world.
