INKAS® Remains Strong and Fully Operational Following Incident at Toronto Headquarters

Earlier this morning, our Toronto headquarters was struck by gunfire in a serious incident that caused damage to the facility. Needless to say, we are extremely grateful that no employees, visitors or members of the public were injured. 

The safety and well-being of our employees remain our highest priority. Immediately following the incident, our security and management teams activated the appropriate protocols to assess the facility, support our personnel and ensure that our operations could continue safely and securely. 

We sincerely appreciate the swift response and continued support of the Toronto Police Service. INKAS® is cooperating fully with investigators and will provide any information or assistance that may help advance their investigation. As this remains an active police matter, we will not speculate on the circumstances, possible motive or identity of those responsible. 

We recognize that an incident of this nature can be unsettling for our employees, their families, our clients and the surrounding community. INKAS® is treating the matter with the seriousness it deserves. We are carefully reviewing the incident and assessing our existing security measures. We are taking all appropriate steps to maintain a safe and secure workplace. 

Our Toronto headquarters remains operational, and our teams continue to serve our clients. INKAS® has established security and business-continuity protocols designed to support the organization through challenging circumstances, and those protocols are being followed.
