INKAS® “Rising Star” Scholarship Recipients Announced

Today, INKAS® Armored Vehicle Manufacturing announces the recipients of the 2021 “Rising Star” scholarship which recognizes Engineering and Business students for their dedication in their fields of study.

With an overwhelming number of applicants from across Canada and the United States, INKAS® is proud to announce that this year’s recipients are:

  • Moises Fernandez – Business field of study
  • Nathaniel Loran – Engineering field of study

“Among the many strong candidates, these two individuals’ applications were particularly impressive. Both of the recipients show outstanding academic achievements along with great ambition to become future leaders within their industries,” says Margarita Simkin, Chairwoman at INKAS® Armored Vehicle Manufacturing. “We are happy that despite these unprecedented times, we are able to support students who pursue careers that will have a profound effect on our future economy.”

In addition to the financial reward, the students are offered the opportunity to participate in a mentorship program that provides one-on-one work experience alongside a professional in their field. The mentorship program includes a placement at INKAS® Headquarters in Toronto, Canada, where the students will gain meaningful experience, develop skills, and establish a network for their future career path.

The INKAS® “Rising Star” is an annual scholarship and mentorship program, established in 2018 by INKAS® Armored Vehicle Manufacturing. It recognizes outstanding students who are pursuing or entering full-time studies in business or engineering programs.
